Our Story
The company
Nordac is made up of five established companies specializing in refrigeration, air conditioning and heating, serving commercial, industrial and residential clients across the Quebec City, Portneuf (Donnacona), Bas-Saint-Laurent (Saint-Antonin) and Saguenay (Chicoutimi) regions.
We know the hardest part is rarely the problem itself—it’s not knowing what’s going on. As experts, our role is to provide clarity. Whether you need us for a breakdown affecting your operations, to restore comfort at home, for an emergency replacement or a new installation, we’re the partner that puts you back in control when things get complex and stressful.

A network of local businesses
The Nordac network was formed to combine the strengths of these businesses while preserving their individual identities. Each company remains autonomous in its day-to-day operations and retains its own employees and decision-making power, but now shares its expertise, resources and service capacity. This approach enables our clients to work with a local partner who understands their needs while benefiting from the strength of a structured network.
Nordac integrates five local companies that operated independently:
- Réfrigération Picard - Québec, founded in 1975
- Réfrigération Trottier - Québec, founded in 2003
- GG Réfrigération - Donnacona, founded in 1988
- Ray Réfrigération - St-Antonin, founded in 1983
- FrigoTemp - Chicoutimi, founded in 1967
Our ambition
Our ambition is to build the leading HVAC network in eastern Quebec one known for its reach, responsiveness, operational standards and local roots.
We grow the network by acquiring reputable regional companies that share our vision companies that want to continue growing, safe in the knowledge that they have the support of a solid network behind them. Each company maintains continuity within its community, teams and partnerships, while building a service capacity that none could offer alone. Local presence backed by collective strength that’s our edge in eastern Quebec.
